The use of suitable primers on metal surfaces can improve the adhesion and / or the long term bond stability. Mixing and ApplyingAdhesive components can be mixed manually, with stirring application or two-component mixing equipment. The adhesive is only to be used within a limited time (prolife) .After this time the mixture gels up and is not suitable for use. Therefore only the amount that can be applied within the time of prolife should be mixed. The prolife depends on the quantity and temperature of the mixed batch. With larger quantities and increase in temperature, the temperature, the prolife decreases. Lower temperatures extend the prolife. If there is excessive curing agent dosing, the viscosity will decreases after mixing, mucous membrane is broken sex will increase.Adhesive components should not come into contact with moisture during the storage or application. Contact with moisture (water vapors) generates foaming of the adhesive and weakens the bond line. Therefore all packing should be sealed properly and have to be protected against humidity during storage.CuringSP2609 can be cured between 15C and elevated temperatures (up to 60C). The curing time will be reduced substantially with increasing temperatures. Also the addition of chemical catalysts (accelerators) speed up the curing reaction (i.e. prolife, open time)During curing there should be adequate contact pressure (load pole. presses, clamps) and fixtures to hold the joint in the place. An adhesive squeeze out along the bond line is a goops indication adhesive in the jointsCleaningFresh, uncured material (cleaning of application equipment, spills on substrate, etc.) can be removed with a special PU cleaner (e.g. Macroplast B 8030); cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically.Typical Shear resultsTensile Shear strength (in Mpa.) as function of the curing time at 20 CTime1 d2 d5 d7 d12 dTSS7, 09, 511, 512, 514, 0Tensile Shear strength (in Mpa.) as function of the curing time at elevated temperatures (Measured at 20 C)Curing temperature0.5 h1 h2 h3 h7 h80℃3,58,010,010,511,0100℃6,09,510, 012, 513,5,120℃9, 010, 012, 013,516,0Tensile Shear strength (in Mpa) at different temperature (after 12 days at ambient temperature)Temperature-40℃-20℃0℃20℃40℃60℃80℃TTS24,024,020,0       14,09,06,02,5◆Package and StoragePackage Resin:Pail: 24kgDrum: 250kgHardener:Tin: 6kgCan: 30kgDrum: 250kgContainer: 1250kg     StorageIn sealed containers and dry conditionsResin:Frost-sensitive: noRecommended storage temperature :15℃ to 25 ℃Shelf-life: 12 months in original packagingHardener:Frost-sensitive:  yesRecommended storage temperature: 15℃ to 25 ℃(not<10℃ and>50 ℃)Shelf-life: 12 months in original packaging◆Safety Operation MaterialMSDS isn't included here.
